AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Sierra Cosworth
AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to introduce our intercooler upgrade for the Sierra Cosworth, designed for track or fast road use. This full-size RS500-style intercooler is compatible with the 3-door Sierra, as well as the 2wd and 4wd Sapphire Cosworths. With a 60mm core, it is ideal for all models up to Stage 3 (400bhp) cars.
To ensure optimal performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed a larger and freer-flowing intercooler that directly replaces the restrictive OEM item. Our solution involves a high-flow, single-pass core with a substantial 60mm depth. This design significantly increases the intercooleras overall capacity and frontal area, maximizing the airflow provided.
The AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler features high-flow, molded one-piece cast end tanks that efficiently direct the flow and offer greater efficiency and volume compared to the standard intercooler. It fits neatly behind the original bumper and can be easily reverted back to standard if desired. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the necessary fixtures and fittings, and the optional fitting kit includes uprated polyurethane mounting bushes for reduced movement and flex.
