EBC Brakes introduces Redstuff, a superior ceramic-granule enhanced brake pad, now available for a wide array of modern vehicles including hatchbacks, hot hatches, sedans, muscle cars, and with the new 2022 ED plus range, also for Trucks and SUVs.
At EBC, adhering to environmental legislation is a top priority. Redstuff pads have always been fully compliant in this regard, containing no harmful elements like lead, nickel, copper, antimony sulfides, or asbestos, ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly braking solution.
Premium Low Dust Brake Pads
Redstuff is a premium brake material enhanced with aramid fiber and ceramic particles. We emphasize that none of our pads contain ceramic fibers. Being free from sulfides, lead, and a low-dust material, Redstuff is fully compliant with ECE R 90 brake safety standards.
While some dust is inevitable as brakes wear, a key benefit of the EBC range is the absence of steel fibers. Instead, we use gentler aramid fibers like Twaron® and Kevlar®, which are easier to clean off wheels and won't damage wheel lacquers or alloys.
EBC Redstuff is also notable for its longevity, typically requiring around 500Kms to bed in completely and exhibit its full performance. To facilitate this process, all EBC pads come with a surface coating of our Brake-in™ accelerator compound, designed to speed up the bedding-in period.
