Description
After encountering the collapse of the OEM intake air hose on the Audi S3 (210 & 225) and TT 225 engines (this typically occurs around 5000rpm) that had been re-chipped, our development team set about the manufacture of a hose with re-inforced walls to remedy the problem. The replacement silicone hose was also aerodynamically improved internally to maximise power by removing the existing restrictions. Fitment Guide (This hose will not fit early 99 models models without ESP) • USA only Audi TT 225 upto 2002 • Europe Audi TT 225 upto 2006 • Audi S3 • Seat Leon Cupra R. Please be aware that these hoses were patterned from right hand drive vehicles. Whilst we believe these to be correct for left hand drive vehicles we suggest that you visually check their suitability, as replacement items, with those fitted to your own vehicle, before attempting installation.
- The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.
- This means the hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) or air containing oil mist.
